Bonnie M. (Bloch) Sell

Bonita M. Sell, age 86, of Manitowoc, passed away Tuesday afternoon, June 13, 2017 at Holy Family Memorial Medical Center in Manitowoc.Bonnie was born on October 1, 1930, in Neenah, daughter of the late Wm. Frederick and Lydia Dorothy (Gneich) Bloch. She graduated with the class of 1948 from Neenah High School. Bonnie then attended the University of Wisconsin and graduated from Marquette University with a degree in dental hygiene. On August 8, 1953, she was married to Dr. Richard L. Sell at St. Paul Lutheran Church, Neenah. The couple resided in Manitowoc where they established Park Dental Clinic. She was a member of First Lutheran Church, Jr. Service League and the Rahr West Museum Board. Bonnie enjoyed her bridge clubs, summers at their cottage on Boot Lake at Townsend, and winters in Puerto Rico. Survivors include her husband: Dr. Richard L. Sell, Manitowoc; one son-in-law: Darrin Davey; two grandchildren: Lindsay and Lauren Davey, all of Elkhorn; one brother: Dr. G. Burton Bloch, Green Lake, and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents: Wm and Lydia Bloch; one son: Richard Wm. Sell; one daughter: Susan M. Davey; and two brothers: William Bloch; Robert Bloch.A Memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, June 21, 2017, at First Lutheran Church Chapel, 521 North 8th Street, Manitowoc. Rev. Roald Harswick will officiate.
