Elaine L. Haas, age 75, of Two Rivers died peacefully with her family at her side Thursday afternoon, January 11, 2018 at Rennes Health & Rehab in De Pere following a brief illness.The former Elaine Rebarchek was born on October 21, 1942 in Two Rivers daughter of the late Frank and Helen (Kimball) Rebarchek. She was a 1960 graduate of Washington High School in Two Rivers. On June 2, 1962 Elaine married Robert E. "Bob" Haas at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Two Rivers. He preceded her in death on May 2, 2010. The couple owned and operated Bob & Elaine's Place in Taus for 25 years retiring in 2002. After selling the business in Taus, Bob and Elaine moved to Manitowoc and after Bob's death, Elaine moved to Two Rivers. She enjoyed crocheting, puzzles and all of her grandchildren and great-grandchildren's activities and spending time with her sisters. She was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and aunt.Survivors include her children: Judy Haas, Manitowoc; Tammy (Joe) Denor, Reedsville; Brian (Gail) Haas, Reedsville; Amy Haas, Oshkosh; Kim Mangin and Mark Michalski, Plainfield; her grandchildren include: Ashley (Bob) Wisniewski; Samantha (Matt) Fischer; Ben Mangin, Heather (Troy) Schneider; Jenna (Nick) Krepline; Bryce Haas; Sharron Archambault; Breanna Tisler; great-grandchildren include: Faith, Braeden, Robert and one foster great-grandchild; one brother: Frank Rebarchek, Jr. and his special friend: Diane Doemel, Pine River; three sisters and two brothers-in-law: Arlene Strouf, De Pere; Janice Brachman, De Pere; Sherry (Ron) Carrier, Two Rivers; Ed Baroun, Whitelaw; six sisters-in-law and five brothers-in-law: Shirley Hofacker, Ladysmith; Mary (Tom) O'Hearn, Appleton; Jeannette (Donald) Loose, Reedsville; Carolyn (Ed) Tackett, Fond du Lac; Paul (Carol) Haas, Manitowoc; Lois (Bob) Lehman, Osseo; family friend: Tom Mangin, Maple Grove, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends also survive. She was preceded in death by her parents: Frank and Helen Rebarchek; her husband: Robert E. "Bob" Haas; her in-laws: Edward and Mayme Haas; two sisters: Lou Ann Kolarik; Bonnie Baroun; one brother: Rick Rebarchek; five brothers-in-law: Denver Strouf; Raymond Brachman; James Hofacker; James Stein; John O'Connor; two sisters-in-law: Bonnie Rebarchek; Kathy Haas.Funeral services will be held at 7:00 p.m. Monday, January 15, 2018 at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Kellnersville. Sr. Gerri Krautkramer will officiate with burial of her cremated remains at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery, Kellnersville in the spring. Relatives and friends may call on Monday at the church from 3:00 p.m. until the time of service at 7:00 p.m. A memorial fund has been established in Elaine's name for St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
