Harriet H. Lensmire

Harriet H. Lensmire, age 88, a resident of Manitowoc, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, September 2, 2017 at her residence.Harriet was born on March 17, 1929 in Sheboygan, daughter of the late Daniel and Regina (Seibel) Lensmire. She worked for the Mirro Company for 25 years and cared for her parents in her home until the time of their death. Harriet enjoyed polkas, bowling, cross country skiing, flower gardening, spending time on the home farm, all animals and taking her nieces and nephews to Fish Creek in Door County when they were younger. She was a member of St. Francis of Assisi Parish.Survivors include her twelve nieces and nephews: Susie (Jim) Luther, Manitowoc; Gary (Faye) Lensmire, Manitowoc; Rose Mary (David) Hartlaub, Cleveland; Linda (Dick) Bender, Kaukauna; Gloria Levendoski, Manitowoc; Robert Lensmire, NV; Mary Ann Koch, Manitowoc; Danny (Lisa) Lensmire, Taus; Nancy (Tim) Brandes, Forest Junction; Laurie (Gary) Mangin, Maple Grove; Pat (Pam) Lensmire, Mishicot; Sandy (Steve) Shimon, Hilbert, other relatives and friends survive. She was preceded in death by her parents: Daniel and Regina Lensmire; one brother and sister-in-law: Lawrence and Agatha Lensmire.Private family funeral services were held at St. Francis of Assisi on Waldo. The Rev. Mark Mleziva celebrated the Mass of Christian Burial with entombment at the Knollwood Mausoleum.
