Jerome C. Rabitz

Jerome C. Rabitz, age 71, a Two Rivers resident, died unexpectedly on Monday, July 31, 2017.Jerome was born on August 2, 1945 in Manitowoc, son of the late Clarence and Genevieve (Petska) Rabitz. He was a graduate of Mishicot Community High School, Mishicot, Class of 1963. Jerome married Francine Langley on June 19, 1965. She preceded him in death on September 11, 2012. He was owner of Rabitz Electric for more than 40 years. Jerome received his pilot's license in 1985. He loved flying his Cessna 182, which he co-owned with Tom Cherwonka. Jerome was an avid hunter and loved hunting on his Michigan land with his grandson Brandon. More than anything he loved traveling in his motorhome which he eventually ends up living in permanently.Survivors include his daughter: Sherri Rabitz, Texas; grandson: Brandon Johnson, Manitowoc; brother and sister-in-law: John (Mary Ann) Rabitz, Two Rivers; sister-in-law: Carol Rabitz, Manitowoc; brother-in-law: Bill Berthold, Two Rivers; girlfriend: Karen Hanson, Chilton; family friend: Henry Larmay, Texas, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends also survive. He was preceded in death by his parents; his loving wife: Francine Rabitz; son: Corey Rabitz; brother: Richard Rabitz.A life celebration will be held from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Friday, August 4, 2017 at the Jens Family Funeral Home & Crematory, 1122 South 8th Street, Manitowoc.
