Llewellyn E. "Butch" Fischer, age 69 of the town of Manitowoc Rapids, died Monday, January 22, 2018 at Theda Clark Medical Center in Neenah.Butch was born on September 29, 1948 in Manitowoc, son of the late Leroy and Arline (Bremer) Fischer. He was a 1967 graduate of Manitowoc Lincoln High School. On May 6, 1972 Butch married Lynn M. Jaecks at Bethany Ev. Lutheran Church in Manitowoc. She preceded him in death on March 9, 2016. Butch worked at Eck Foundry in Manitowoc retiring in 2014. He was a member of Bethany Ev. Lutheran Church, GMP Union Local #301, and the Manitowoc Eagles Aerie #706.Survivors include his two sons: Thomas (Janis) Fischer, Manitowoc; Robert Fischer, Chicago, IL and his significant other: Cydney Wessel; two granddaughters: Callie Preiss and her fiancée: Tyler Gass; Maleigha Oakley; Butch's special friend: Linda Preiss, Sheboygan; two brothers and sisters-in-law: Lawrence (Pam) Fischer, Manitowoc; Larry (Lois) Fischer, Valders; one sister and brother-in-law: Lanette (Verlyn) Schleis, Mishicot; three brothers-in-law and two sisters-in-law: Clarence (Mary) Jaecks Jr., Wausau; Allen (Rosemary) Jaecks, Manitowoc; Burton Drake, Wausau, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends also survive. He was preceded in death by his parents: Leroy and Arline Fischer; his wife; Lynn M. Fischer; his father-in-law and mother-in-law: Clarence and Lucille Jaecks Sr.; one sister-in-law: Lois Drake; one brother-in-law: Keith Jaecks.Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, January 26, 2018 at Bethany Ev. Lutheran Church, 3209 Meadow Lane, Manitowoc. The Rev.'s Robert Kujawski and Stephen Melso will officiate with burial to follow at Knollwood Memorial Gardens. Relatives and friends may call at the Reinbold & Pfeffer Family Funeral Home, 818 State Street, Manitowoc on Thursday from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and again on Friday at the church from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service at 11:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers a memorial fund has been established in his name for Bethany Ev.
