Patrick Mangin Obituary

Patrick J. Mangin, age 59, of Reedsville, went to his eternal rest on Tuesday, February 27, 2018 at Jack and Engrid Meng Unity Hospice, De Pere, following a courageous two-year battle with cancer.Pat was born in Green Bay on July 22, 1958 to the late Daniel and Margaret (Wheeler) Mangin. He attended St. Patrick Grade School and graduated in 1976 from Reedsville High School. Pat was proud of being the first wrestler in school history and winning the school's first match. He worked at Manitowoc Ice for over 30 years. Pat loved riding his Harley, finding a good deal and volunteering at St. Patrick Cemetery, Maple Grove.Pat was the fifth of 15 children, and will be greatly missed by his siblings and a large extended family, as well as community members and friends. Survivors include his five sisters and their spouses: Jeanette (John) Tarkowski, De Pere; Mary (Tom) Mleziva, Denmark; Coleen Riederer (fiancée Paul Braun), Whitelaw; Sharon (Emmanuel) Nwankwo, Bethesda, MD; Julie (Al) Dietrich, Reedsville; nine brothers and their spouses: Robert Mangin, Appleton; Daniel (Donna) Mangin, Brillion; John Mangin, Reedsville; Gary (Laurie) Mangin, Reedsville; Ron (Lauri) Mangin, Brillion; Tom Mangin, Baldwin; Mark (Linda) Mangin, Neenah; Brian (Uhlee) Mangin, San Francisco, CA; Neal (Bethany) Mangin, Northport, FL. Survivors also include two God-daughters: Melanie Tarkowski and Kimberly Mangin, many other nieces and nephews, his Godparents: Lyle and Rosemary Mangin, Reedsville, aunts, uncles, many cousins and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents: Dan and Margaret Mangin; his paternal grandparents: Paul D. and Olive Mangin; his maternal grandparents: George and Margaret Wheeler; brother-in-law: Mark Riederer; and nephew: Jason Riederer.Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, March 3, 2018 at Holy Family Parish, 1100 West Ryan Street, Brillion. Rev. Timothy Brandt will celebrate the Mass of Christian Burial with burial to follow in St. Patrick Cemetery, Maple Grove. Relatives and friends may call on Friday at the Church from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and Saturday from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service at 10:30 a.m. There will be a Parish Prayer Service, Friday evening at 7:30 p.m. The Reinbold & Pfeffer Family Funeral Home of Kellnersville is assisting the family with funeral arrangements.
