Randal L. Yindra

Randal L. "Randy" Yindra, age 51, of Francis Creek, passed away Sunday, April 23, 2017 at Aurora Medical Center of Manitowoc County after a courageous six-month battle with cancer.Randy was born on January 3, 1966 in Manitowoc, son of the late Robert and Laverne (Bruss) Yindra. He graduated with the class of 1984 from Manitowoc Lutheran High School. Randy drove semi for various companies in the area and most recently for Mike Marek Trucking, retiring due to illness in November of 2016. Randy was a volunteer counselor at Marco Manor in Manitowoc. He enjoyed karaoke, everyone knew him as "Johnny Cash". He was a member of St. John Ev. Lutheran Church, Maribel.Randy is survived by four children: Winter Delsman, Green Bay; Wyatt Yindra, Hilbert; Jennifer Yindra, Hilbert; Cash Yindra, Hilbert; three brothers and two sisters-in-law: Dale (Ellen) Yindra, Chippewa Falls; Gary Yindra, Michigan City, IN; Wayne (Julie) Yindra, Port Richey, FL; two sisters and one brother-in-law: Carol Frauenfeld, Thonotosassa, FL; Kay (Brian) Shoemaker, Thonotosassa, FL, nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, other relatives and friends also survive. He was preceded in death by his parents: Robert and Laverne Yindra.Memorial services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, April 27, 2017 at St. John Ev. Lutheran Church, 14311 South Maribel Road, Maribel. The Rev. Daniel Cole will officiate.
