Roger A. Mrozinsky, age 80, a Manitowoc resident, passed away early Tuesday morning, April 18th, 2017 at Azura Memory Care Center of Manitowoc.Roger was born on October 26, 1936 in Manitowoc, son of the late Anton and Eleanor (Brandl) Mrozinsky. He was a 1955 graduate of Manitowoc Lincoln High School. On July 7, 1956, he married the former Joyce A. Franz at St. Paul Catholic Church in Manitowoc. Roger worked for MPU as a manager of Water Distribution until his retirement in 1994. He enjoyed golfing, fishing and loved to spend time with his family and friends at his cottage in Little Sturgeon, and especially wintering in Florida. Roger and Joyce travelled worldwide throughout their lifetimes. Roger was a member of St. Francis of Assisi Parish of Manitowoc and an active member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles, Aerie #706 of Manitowoc since 1974.Survivors include his wife: Joyce Mrozinsky, Manitowoc; five sons and daughters-in-law and fourteen grandchildren: Randall (Debbie) Mrozinsky, Shoto and their children: Melissa Anhalt; Nathan Mrozinsky; Nicole Scherer; Nicholas (Cassandra) Mrozinsky; Richard (Gemma) Mrozinsky, Manitowoc and their children: Wesley Siepiela; Elijah Mrozinsky; Jonah Mrozinsky; Ronald (Jamie) Mrozinsky, Kellnersville and their children: Ethan Nelson and his fiancée: Ashley; Samantha Nelson; David (Heidi) Mrozinsky, Francis Creek and their children: Molly Mrozinsky; Caleb Mrozinsky and his fiancée: Kaley; Grace Mrozinsky; Darryl (Beth) Mrozinsky, Glenbeulah and their children: Benjamin Mrozinsky; Emma Mrozinsky; eleven great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends also survive. He was preceded in death by his parents: Anton and Eleanor Mrozinsky.A Memorial service will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday, April 22, 2017 at St. Francis of Assisi on Marshall, 1114 South 21st Street, Manitowoc. The Rev. David Beaudry will celebrate the Mass of Christian Burial. Relatives and friends may call at the Reinbold & Pfeffer Family Funeral Home, 818 State Street, Manitowoc on Friday from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. and again on Saturday at the church from 9:30 a.m. until the time of services at 11:30 a.m. A parish prayer service will be held at the funeral home on Friday at 7:00 p.m. led by Deacon Alan Boeldt.
