Rudella A. Hennig

Rudella A. Hennig (nee Stam), age 90, passed away peacefully with her family at her side early Wednesday morning, January 17, 2018.Rudella was born on March 11, 1927 to Wilhelmina (Bauer) Stam and John Stam in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Rudella was a wonderful mom. She loved to read, sew, walk, and play cards, but her biggest joy was to spend time with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.Rudella is survived by her children: Barbara (Richard) Kettner; Mary (Kirk) Lundgren; Michael (Laura) Hennig; Laura (Chuck Jackson) Lundgren; and Tom (Barb) Leppke-Hennig; twelve grandchildren: Lucien Alvarado; Corey (Erin) Lundgren; Curtis (Kyla O'Connor) Hennig; Laurent (Sara Fahy) Alvarado; Eric (Amanda) Lundgren; Devon (Rob) Erbes; LeAnn (Matthew) Meverden; Garrett Hennig; Stefan Lundgren; Catherine Lundgren; Rui Wen Leppke-Hennig; and YiYan Leppke-Hennig; her siblings: Robert (Virginia) Stam; Donna (Richard) Allen; and Daniel (Mary) Stam; and seven beloved great-grandchildren: Brenna, Ilah, Asher, Hayden, Harlyn, Leoric and Luna. Rudella was preceded in death by her husband of 60 years: Robert D. Hennig; and her two much loved sons: James and Steven.A memorial service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Sunday, January 21, 2018 at the Jens Family Funeral Home & Crematory, 1122 South 8th Street, Manitowoc. Relatives and friends may call at the funeral home from 12:00 noon until the time of service 1:00 p.m. with a luncheon to follow the service at the funeral home.
