Sally Grawien, age 46, of 1101 Green Street, Manitowoc, passed away suddenly Wednesday, November 15, 2017 at Theda Care in Neenah following a brain aneurism suffered earlier in the day at her home.The former Sally Traas was born on February 12, 1971, in Sheboygan, daughter of the late Leroy and Doris (Wieberdink) Traas. Sally attended local area schools in Oostburg. On July 14, 1990, Sally married David Grawien at Sheboygan. The couple moved to Manitowoc in 1990. Sally spent most of her adult life working as a waitress at Joe's Diner in Manitowoc and the last five years she helped David operate RCS Painting. Her husband and children were her life. Survivors include her husband: David Grawien; her five children: Megan Grawien, Kiara Grawien; Tyler Grawien; Collin Grawien; Shane Grawien; two granddaughters: Evalee and Alayna; her brothers and sisters include: Ronald Traas; Deb (Terry) Mentink; Sherry (Jerry) Bowling; Dan Traas; Mike (Deb) Traas; her mother-in-law: Patricia Grawien; her brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law: Lisa (Brian) Kapellen; Alan (Patty) Grawien; James Grawien Jr., nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends also survive. She was preceded in death by her parents: Leroy and Doris Traas; one brother: Ken Traas; father-in-law: James Grawien Sr.Relatives and friends may call at the Gibbsville Reformed Church, N3145 WI HWY 32, Sheboygan Falls, WI 53085, for a Celebration of Life on Tuesday, November 21, 2017 from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Sally's nephew Rev. Nick Bowling will lead the Celebration of Life. A memorial fund has been established in Sally's name to help offset her final expenses.
