Sandra M. "Sandy" Wetenkamp

Sandra M. "Sandy" Wetenkamp, age 58, of Manitowoc passed away on Saturday morning, August 12, 2017 at Aurora Medical Center, Two Rivers, after a long and courageous battle with cancer. Sandy was born on December 6, 1958 in Manitowoc, daughter of the late Elmer and Virginia (Allen) Wetenkamp. She attended Manitowoc Schools. Sandy worked at Wald Wire in Manitowoc and retired due to her ongoing battle with cancer. She enjoyed crafting and sewing, riding her motorcycle, and spending all of her free time with her four grandchildren. She is survived by her two daughters: Tammy Wetenkamp (Camerin Hammonds); Stacy Wetenkamp (Erik Marcelle); four grandchildren: Eliza Dodge; Ethan Dodge; Ciara Bennett; Cienna Bennett, all of Manitowoc; one brother: Larry Wetenkamp, Two Rivers; one brother-in-law: Stephen Krauss, Appleton, many nieces, cousins, other relatives and friends also survive. She was preceded in death by her parents: Elmer and Virginia Wetenkamp; one sister: Nancy Krauss; one sister-in-law: Yvonne Wetenkamp; one niece: Debra Krauss.We will be having a Celebration for life at 732 N. 10th St., Manitowoc on Saturday, August 26, 2017 starting at 11:00 a.m. This will last throughout the day, anybody that would like to stop and pay their respects are more than welcome to. We will be serving lunch during her celebration. Any donations can be made at the Celebration of life, please make checks payable to Stacy Wetenkamp for all donations will be used to help pay for her final expenses.
