Susan Wille Obituary

Susan Jean Wille, age 47, a Manitowoc resident, went to be with the Lord early Wednesday morning, 13 September, 2017, following a long and courageous battle with cancer surrounded by loving family and friends.Susan was born on January 18, 1970 in Ripon Wisconsin, daughter of James and Jean (Skeris) Wille. She graduated with the class of 1988 from Manitowoc Lincoln High School. Susan was a hard worker during her life and was a strong and dedicated advocate for ovarian cancer awareness. She loved all animals, especially her dog Jack, she also enjoyed flowers and everything outdoors. Susan had the love of her life and the most rewarding gift was their son whom she adored dearly.She is survived by her beloved longtime partner Jeff Schmidt and their son Jacob Schmidt, her parents, sister Debbie (Ricky) Prellwitz of Ripon, brother Richard (Diane) Wille of Beaverton, OR, sister Sharon (Stephen) Wille Padnos of Essex Junction, VT, niece Stephanie Prellwitz and her children Aaliyah, Damian Jr., and Nyasia, niece Danielle Hinton and her son Jayden. She is also survived by her extended family, Bette and Reginald Schmidt, Tammy (Dan) Schisel, John (Vicki) Schmidt, Sarah (Pat Haas) Schmidt, Gregory (Jennifer) Schmidt, Jenny (Eric) Troullier, and many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her grandparents: Anton and Bernice Skeris; Carl and Hattie Wille.The family will greet relatives and friends on Sunday, September 17, 2017 from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. at the Jens Family Funeral Home & Crematory, 1122 South 8th Street, Manitowoc. A prayer service will be held at 3:00 p.m. led by Deacon Mike Dolezal. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to establish a trust fund for her son.
