Ardis A. Rosado, age 81, of Manitowoc, died Tuesday, April 17, 2018 at Aurora Medical Center, Two Rivers.Ardis was born on November 1, 1936 in Two Rivers, daughter of the late Julius and Marie (Steeber) Filliez. She attended schools in Two Rivers and graduated with the class of 1954 from Washington High School. On September 17, 1955 she married Manuel D. Rosado at St. Luke's Catholic Church in Two Rivers. Ardis worked at Mirro Aluminum for over 20 years until her retirement. She was a member of St. Francis of Assisi Parish. Ardis enjoyed baking, cake decorating, bowling, playing cards, going to the casino, knitting and doing volunteer work.She is survived by her husband: Manuel Rosado, Manitowoc; five children: Keith (Julie) Rosado, Two Rivers; Raoul Rosado, IL; Rita Rosado, Manitowoc; Roy Rosado, Burlington; Rachelle (Brian) Rosado-Wall, Manitowoc; ten grandchildren: Jessica Rosado, Manitowoc; Joshua (Rose) Hartman, MI; Keith Rosado, IL; Rebecca (Kyle) Rosado-LaGosh, Greenfield; Stephanie (Scott) Rosado-Stuckmann, Two Rivers; Karina Hermans, AZ; Heath Hermans, Whitewater; Dalton Hermans, MD; Alex Spatchek, NJ; Jenna Wall, Manitowoc; three sisters and two brothers-in-law: Sharlene Kasper, Two Rivers; Karen (Art) Bangart, New Holstein; Juleen Snyder, Manitowoc; Jerry Dhein, Manitowoc; three brothers and one sister-in-law: Richard Filliez, Manitowoc; Chuck Filliez, Mishicot; Lee (Debbie) Filliez; Manitowoc, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends also survive. She was preceded in death by her parents; infant daughter: Mary Rosado; one sister: Trudy Dhein; one brother-in-law and sister-in-law: Steven Snyder; Priscilla Filliez; one nephew: Troy Bangart and also six brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law.Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, April 21, 2018 at St. Francis of Assisi on Grand, 1416 Grand Avenue, Manitowoc. The Rev. Doug Le Captain will celebrate the Mass of Christian Burial with entombment to follow at Calvary Mausoleum. Relatives and friends may call on Friday at the Reinbold & Pfeffer Family Funeral Home, 818 State Street, Manitowoc from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. with a parish prayer service at 6:30 p.m. led by Deacon Alan Boeldt. Visitation will continue on Saturday at the church from 9:30 a.m. until the time of mass at 11:00 a.m. Memorials can be made to the donor's choice.
