Diane LaFond

Diane LaFond, age 80, of Manitowoc, passed away Sunday afternoon, July 30, 2017 at St. Mary's Home at Felician Village.The former Diane Falcon was born on June 25, 1937 in Cleveland, OH, daughter of the late Edward and Gladys (Basicker) Falcon. On June 23, 1958, Diane married James M. LaFond at Holy Redeemer Catholic Church, Two Rivers. She graduated with the class of 1955 from Whitefish Bay High School, Whitefish Bay, WI and attended two years at UW Madison. She worked as an Office Manager of Manitowoc Custom Molding, Inc. until her retirement.She is survived by her husband; James M. LaFond, Manitowoc; two daughters: Cherie (David) Anderson, Manitowoc; Michele LaFond (Victoria Storzer), Little Suamico; one son: David (Kristen) LaFond, Wichita, KS; four grandchildren: Nichole LaFond, Wichita, KS; Cassandra (Joshua) Webster, Augusta, KS; Lauren (Andrew) Shaft, Wellington, KS; Joelle Mark, Manitowoc; two great-grandchildren: Wyatt Webster; Aylah Webster, both of Augusta, KS; three sisters-in-law: Darlene Kramer, Milwaukee; Virginia (Allan) Hale, Green Bay; Joan (Paul) LaFond-Schultz, Two Rivers, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends also survive. She was preceded in death by her parents; Edward and Gladys Falcon; one grandson: Christopher Mark; one sister: Elaine Falcon; one brother: David Falcon.A private burial took place at Holy Cross Cemetery, Two Rivers.
