Gary P. Popp, age 68, of Manitowoc, died Friday, July 13, 2018 at his residence with his loving family at his side.Gary was born on March 27, 1950 in Manitowoc, son of the late Milton and Eunice (Swoboda) Popp. He attended local area schools and graduated with the class of 1968 from Manitowoc Lincoln High School. On September 25, 1976 he married the former Debra J. Wiegand at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Manitowoc. Gary worked at Vinton Construction retiring in 2005. Gary was a member of St. Francis of Assisi Parish. In the past he enjoyed hunting and fishing.Survivors include his wife: Debra Popp, Manitowoc; his three children: Heidi J. Spindler and her fiancé: Kurt Seefeldt, Manitowoc; Eric P. Popp and his fiancée: Andrea Green, Manitowoc; Brittany J. (Ramiro) Erives, Two Rivers; ten grandchildren: Cheyenne; Haily; Camryn; Kiersten; Madalyn; Ayden; Wyatt; Cole; Chelsea; Emersyn; one brother and three sisters-in-law: Thomas (Kathy) Popp, Manitowoc; Julie Popp, Two Rivers; Joanne Popp, Manitowoc; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law: Michael (Janice) Wiegand, Manitowoc; Mark (Maureen) Wiegand, Rockwood; Bruce (Penny) Wiegand, Valders; Christine (Brian) Bucholtz, Coconut Creek, FL; Robin Peterson (Jeff), Manitowoc; Robert (Robyn) Wiegand, Manitowoc; one godson: Travis Peterson; one goddaughter: Wendy Konitzer, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends also survive. He was preceded in death by his parents: Milton and Eunice Popp; one grandson: Carter Popp; three brothers: Allen Popp, Dale Popp and Ronald Popp.A Funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, July 18, 2018 at the Reinbold & Pfeffer Family Funeral Home, 818 State Street, Manitowoc with burial to follow at Evergreen Cemetery.
