Jane E. (Sellers) Abbott

Jane E. (Sellers) Abbott, age 87, of Manitowoc, left her earthly body to rest in heaven Saturday afternoon, August 5, 2017. Her passing happened quickly and peacefully; she was in her Manitowoc home surrounded by her daughter, two granddaughters and close friends.Jane Elizabeth Sellers was born in Sidney, Ohio on January 26th, 1930 to Jesse and Leona (Irwin) Sellers. She was very proud to have been named by her three brothers, Marcus, Darrell and Boyd. Jane had a deep love of music that began at an early age. She played piano in churches and sang in choirs whenever possible. Jane had a heart to serve and volunteered for years at various churches and through Meals on Wheels. Her greatest joy in life was always time with her family, and she was a proud attendee of countless sports games and various performances for her children and grandchildren.Jane is survived by her two children: Kirt (June) Abbott; and Kristin Abbott; six grandchildren: Kelly (Matt) Fogelmark; Brent (Brook) Cranford; Sarah (Blake) Steighorst; Elizabeth Ziolkowski; Rachel Ziolkowski; Andrew Ziolkowski; and multiple great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends also survive. She was preceded in death by her parents; her beloved brothers and their wives; and her first born infant son: Kipp.Jane's life will be celebrated in a private family service at a later date. The Reinbold & Pfeffer Family Funeral Home of Manitowoc is assisting the family with funeral arrangements.
