Janice H. Lusnia

Janice H. Lusnia, age 80, of Manitowoc, died Early Monday morning, September, 24, 2018 at Manitowoc Health & Rehabilitation Center, Manitowoc.Janice was born on August 11, 1938 in Manitowoc, daughter of the late Henry and Helen (Kocian) Hardina. She attended local area schools and graduated from Manitowoc Lincoln High school with the class of 1956. On May 1, 1996, Janice was married to Eugene Lusnia in Manitowoc. He preceded her in death on February 14, 2016. Janice worked as a receptionist with her daughter at Electra Tan and Molly's Closet. She was a member of Faith Evangelical Lutheran Church. Janice enjoyed walking, gardening and decorating.Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law: Tracy (Charles) Ruether, Mishicot; one son: Todd Kornely, CA; one brother-in-law: Leo Heier, Manitowoc; nieces: Jody St. John, Escanaba, MI; Pam Heier, FL; Shelly Morrison, FL; very special niece: Laurie Heier, Manitowoc; special friend of 64 years: Nancy Voelker, Manitowoc, other relatives and friends also survive. She was preceded in death by her parents: Henry and Helen Hardina; her husband: Eugene Lusnia; two sisters: Mary Ann (Reginald) St. John; Dorothy Heier.According to Janice's wishes no services will be held. Burial of her cremated remains will take place at Evergreen Cemetery, Manitowoc. The Jens Family Funeral Home & Crematory assisted the family with arrangements.
