Jill M. "Gabbie" Springborg, age 62, of Manitowoc, died Monday, December 31, 2018 at her residence.Jill was born on December 18, 1956 in Laona, Wisconsin, daughter of the late Mark and Alice (Joas) Gagnon. On March 8, 1997 she married Bob "BC" Springborg in Manitowoc. Jill was the manager at the Wright Home for many years and was also the Activity Director at River Hills Apartments.She is survived by her husband: Bob "BC" Springborg, Manitowoc; one son: Eric Smith, Manitowoc; one brother and sister-in-law: Mark (Nancy) Gagnon, Manitowoc; three sisters and brothers-in-law: Yvonne Barta (Randy) Truttschel, Manitowoc; Diane (Dennis) Minkel, Manitowoc; Julie (Greg) Schaus, Manitowoc; three sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law: Deanna (Patrick) Bodwin, Reedsville; Gloretta (Frank) Thomas, TX; Loura (Greg) Macella, Kenosha, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends also survive. She was preceded in death by her parents: Mark and Alice Gagnon; one brother-in-law and one nephew.A Life Celebration will be held from 1:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 12, 2019 at the Jens Family Funeral Home & Crematory, 1122 South 8th Street, Manitowoc.
