Jule Zipperer Obituary

Jule C. Zipperer, age 84, of Cato, died Sunday afternoon, October 22, 2017 at St. Vincent Hospital in Green Bay.Jule was born on July 4, 1933 in Cato, son of the late Urban and Clara (Lemberger) Zipperer. He was a 1951 graduate of Reedsville High School. Jule served in the United States Army from October 6, 1954 until his Honorable Discharge on July 7, 1956. On October 27, 1956 Jule was married to Janice M. Novy at Holy Innocents Catholic Church in Manitowoc. He was a construction superintendent for 32 years with Schuette Construction in Manitowoc and Buteyn Construction in Sheboygan retiring in 1994. In 1995 he built the Holiday Inn Express in Sheboygan. Jule raised Polled Herford cattle at his farm in Branch. He was a member of St. Francis of Assisi Parish, Operating Engineers Local #139, the American & Wisconsin Polled Herford Association and the Holiday Inn Owners Association. A loving Husband, Father and Grandfather: Jule is survived by his wife: Janice Zipperer, Cato; one son and daughter-in-law: Mark Charles and Leigh Zipperer, Germantown, TN; one granddaughter: Regina Claire Zipperer, Germantown, TN; one sister: Marie Rosinsky, Manitowoc; one sister-in-law: Mary Ann Zipperer, Manitowoc, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends also survive. He was preceded in death by his parents: Urban and Clara Zipperer; one brother: Victor Zipperer; two sisters and three brothers-in-law: Bernadine (Rueben) Schiesl; Laverne (Richard) Becker; Paul Rosinsky.Private family funeral services were held on Friday, October 27, 2017 at St. Francis of Assisi on Waldo. The Rev. David Pleier celebrated the Mass of Christian Burial with entombment at the Calvary Mausoleum.
