Karen M. Fabian, age 54, entered into eternal life on Monday, August 20, 2018 in Guadalajara, Jalisco, Mexico after suffering a heart attack. On her last earthly journey, she and beloved husband OJ were traveling by car so he could show her some of his favorite places in Colorado, with a trip then to Mexico to see sights and visit relatives.Karen was born to Carol Staral Fabian Mitchell and the late Joseph Fabian on March 6, 1964 in Kewaunee. She was a graduate of Kewaunee High School in 1982. On August 20, 2010 Karen married Oscar "OJ" Cisneros in Key West, Florida. She worked at Point Beach Nuclear plant for 33 years where she is fondly remembered as a no non-sense, hard worker with a good sense of humor. Karen touched many lives – human and animal – with her generosity. She loved to travel and especially loved the beach. Karen attended Holy Cross Catholic Church in Mishicot and St. Isadore the Farmer Catholic Church in Tisch Mills.Surviving Karen is her husband: Oscar "OJ" Cisneros, their 2 daughters: Gabriella (Gabbi) Cisneros and Miranda Cisneros; her mother and step-father: Carol (Ron) Mitchell; two brothers and sisters-in-law: Patrick (Barbara) Fabian, Kevin (Beth Goldsmith-Fabian) Fabian; two sisters and one brother-in-law: Denise Fabian; Geralyn "Geri" (Dennis) Aschenbrenner. Karen is further survived by nephews and nieces: Goddaughter: Erica (Sean) Braden; Cody Aschenbrenner; Cory Fabian; Andrea and Theresa Fabian; and Everly and Levi Braden. Karen was preceded in death by her father Joe.Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, September 5, 2018 at St. Isadore the Farmer Catholic Church, 18424 Tisch Mills Road, Tisch Mills. The Rev. Dennis Drury will celebrate the Mass of Christian Burial with cremation to follow. Relatives and friends may call at the church on Wednesday from 9:00 a.m. until the time of Mass at 11:00 a.m. Following the Mass there will be a luncheon for relatives and friends in the parish hall.In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Lakeshore Humane Society; 1551 N 8th St; Manitowoc, WI 54220, or the Crohn's & Colitis Foundation; National Processing Center; Attn: Honor and Memorial Gifts; PO Box 1245; Albert Lea, MN 56007.The Reinbold and Pfeffer Family Funeral Home of Kellnersville assisted the family with funeral arrangements.
