Lorayne E. Popp

Lorayne E. Popp, age 89, of Manitowoc, passed away Friday, May 26, 2017, at Aurora Medical Center, Two Rivers.Lorayne was born on January 21, 1928 in Appleton, daughter of the late John and Helen (Weina) Popp. She worked at Harnischfeger Company in Milwaukee until her retirement in 1990 when she moved to Manitowoc. Lorayne was a member of St. Francis of Assisi Parish.Survivors include one sister: Grace Pagel, Algoma; and her children: Karen (Randy) Theys; Tracey Pagel and special friend: Steve; Aimee (Jarrow) Williquette; one sister-in-law: Jane Popp and her children, IL; special niece: Cheryl (Jim) Taylor, Manitowoc; and their children: Troy (Rachel) Leikam, Alissa Taylor; niece: Pamela Fox, NC; and her children: Andrew and Luke Fox; special friend: Tom Leikam, Manitowoc, other nieces and nephews, relatives and friends also survive. She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers: Clarence Popp; Richard Popp; one sister: Mildred Jansen; one brother-in-law: Bill Pagel.Memorial services will be held on Tuesday, June 6th, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at the Jens Family Funeral Home & Crematory, 1122 South 8th Street, Manitowoc. Rev. David Pleier will officiate. Relatives and friends may call on Tuesday at the funeral home from 10:00 a.m. until the time of services at 11:00 a.m. Burial of her cremated remains will take place at a later date.
