Louann M. (Walber) Baer, age 67, of Manitowoc, passed away Sunday morning, August 20, 2017 at Manitowoc Health & Rehabilitation Center of Manitowoc.Louann was born on January 16, 1950 in Wisconsin, daughter of the late: Donald and May (Kaufmann) Walber of St. Anne. She worked at Lakeside Foods Co. until her retirement. She is survived by her three children: Susie Baer, Manitowoc; Herbie Baer, Manitowoc; Elvie Baer, Manitowoc; two grandchildren: Chris Baer; Jacob Baer; four brothers and three sisters-in-law: Kevin (Sheri) Walber; Donald (Lori) Walber; Mike Walber; Tom (Joan) Walber; nieces and nephews: Jason, Amy, Allyson, Andrew, Steven, Nick and Stacy Walber, other relatives and friends also survive. She was preceded in death by her parents; one son: Joseph Baer; one brother: Kenny Walber; two nephews: Matthew Walber; Joseph Walber. A Memorial service will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, August 25, 2017 at the Jens Family Funeral Home & Crematory, 1122 South 8th Street, Manitowoc. Deacon Alan Boeldt will officiate. Relatives and friends may call on Friday at the funeral home from 5:00 p.m. until the time of service at 7:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers the family would like memorials donations to be made in Louann's name.
