Mark W. Nischke, age 71, of Manitowoc, died Sunday evening, July 29, 2018 at his home.Mark was born on November 17, 1946 in Two Rivers, son of the late Bill and Merlee (Fassino) Nischke. He attended local area schools in Two Rivers and graduated with the class of 1964 from Washington High School. On September 28, 1982 Mark married the former Georgia Wallace in Manitowoc. She preceded him in death on February 22, 2013. Mark and his wife Georgia owned and operated Trails End Park and Mini Storage.He is survived by his only daughter: Nicole Nischke, Manitowoc. Other relatives and friends also survive. He was preceded in death by his parents; and his wife: Georgia Nischke.Mark was one-of-a- kind, a lover of vintage cars and motorcycles. Whether it was a cross-country motorcycle trip with the boys, drag racing or just kicking back socializing and playing cards, Mark's life was filled with a constant stream of adventure, love and endless fun. Mark was a successful business man who helped provide a safe place for others to call home and a smart investor who always looked to the future. Mark will most be remembered for his close and loving relationship with his daughter, his hilarious stories and classic one-liners.A time of remembrance will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, August 3, 2018 at his residence, 2406 Johnston Drive, Manitowoc. Gathering of family and friends will be from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. The Jens Family Funeral Home & Crematory of Manitowoc assisted the family with arrangements.
