Oramae Sterletske Obituary

Oramae Sterletske, age 74, formerly of Whitelaw and Reedsville, passed away early Thursday morning, May 18, 2017 at Wisconsin Veterans Home at King.The former Oramae Reedy was born on April 30, 1943, in Manitowoc, daughter of the late Norbert and Arleen (Rolland) Reedy. She grew up in the town of Franklin and attended local area schools and graduated from high school in 1961. Oramae graduated from the Manitowoc Teacher's College in 1963. On April 14, 1962, she was married to Raymond J. Sterletske at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Kellnersville. He preceded her in death on January 1, 2008. Oramae in the past, worked in Manitowoc at the Woolworth's store and Osco Pharmacy and also did food product demonstrations at various grocery stores. The family lived in Whitelaw for many years and moved to the Reedsville Manor. Prior to Raymond's death the couple moved to the Wisconsin Veterans Home in King. Oramae was a former member of St. Michael Catholic Church and its Christian Mothers of Whitelaw, St. Mary's Catholic Church of Reedsville and was currently a member of Holy Family Parish of Brillion. She enjoyed playing cards and socializing. Survivors include her three sons and daughters-in-law: Bill (Nancy) Sterletske, De Pere; Ted (Robin) Sterletske, Brillion; Chuck (Anne) Sterletske, Appleton; nine grandchildren: Michael (Jennifer) Kaufmann; Casey (Brian) Schmitt; Nicole (Matt) Dirden; Kati Zuberbier and her fiancé: Jacob Janssen; Amanda (Tom) Witzsak; Jennifer Sterletske and her special friend: Joe Vogel; Ryan Sterletske and his special friend: Andrea Penza; Joey Thim and his special friend: Mariah; Jessica (Ben) Runge; fourteen great-grandchildren: Travis; Carter; Melanie; Ashlyn; Ethan; Emily; Warren; Elijah; Christopher; Shayna; Rylan; Kendyl; Lena; Brynlee; two sisters and brothers-in-law: Betty (Roy) Hoffman, King; Julianne (Tom) Umentum, Waupun; one sister-in-law: Isabel Sterletske, Denmark, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends also survive. She was preceded in death by her parents: Norbert and Arleen Reedy; her husband: Raymond Sterletske; her father-in-law and mother-in-law: Peter and Katherine Sterletske; one brother-in-law and three sisters-in-law: Ted (Mary) Sterletske; Marie Sterletske; Alice Sterletske.Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, May 24, 2017 at Holy Family Parish, 1100 West Ryan Street, Brillion. The Rev. Richard Klingeisen will celebrate the Mass of Christian burial with burial to follow at Holy Trinity Cemetery, Pine Grove. Relatives and friends may call at the church on Wednesday from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service at 11:00 a.m. The Reinbold & Pfeffer Family Funeral Home of Kellnersville is assisting the family with arrangements.
