Patricia Ann Toerpe

Patricia Ann (Krajewski) Toerpe, age 65, of 1649 Mirro Drive, Manitowoc, passed away peacefully on Sunday, April 2, 2017 at her residence surrounded by her loving family.The former Patricia Krajewski was born on November 6, 1951 in Munising, MI the oldest daughter of Frank and Marina (Nelson) Krajewski. She grew up in Munising and was a 1969 graduate of Mather High School in Munising, MI. She was married to James E. Toerpe on October 20, 1973 in Munising, MI. The couple celebrated their 43rd wedding anniversary last October. Patricia worked at the Mirro Aluminum Co. for three years before having her three children and devoting her life to raising them. She was an active member at her church, Connection Church formerly known as Calvary Assembly of God. She was involved in many clubs, including the River Road Homemaker's Group. Patricia is survived by her husband: James E. Toerpe, Manitowoc; two sons: James E. Toerpe, Jr.; Manitowoc; Mark Toerpe (Heidi Hickey), Fond du Lac; one daughter: Rebecca Vela, Manitowoc; three grandchildren: Akella, Alexis and Shyla; her parents: Frank and Marina Krajewski, Manitowoc; one brother: Frank Krajewski, Manitowoc; one sister and brother-in-law: Cindy (Jeff) Tech, Manitowoc; brother-in-law: John Toerpe; "adopted daughter:" Angela (Pierre) Bolden, Manitowoc and their family: Aysha, Cora, Sophia, Ahmani, Izabelah and Pinelopi; special friend: Carol Levendusky, aunts, uncles, cousins, many other relatives and friends also survive. She was preceded in death by one sister and brother-in-law: Carol (Bill) Takkinen.A Memorial Service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 8, 2017 at the Connection Church, 1455 North Rapids Road, Manitowoc. Rev. Chris Gilbert will officiate. Relatives and friends may call at the church on Saturday from 11:30 a.m. until the time of services at 1:00 p.m. Following the memorial service there will be a luncheon and fellowship period at the church.
