Paul D. Pieschel, age 64, of Kellnersville, passed away Tuesday morning, May 2, 2017 at his residence with his loving family at side after a courageous 14-year battle with cancer.Paul was born on May 4, 1952, in Manitowoc, son of the late Donald and Beverly (Martin) Pieschel. He grew up in Shoto and graduated with the class of 1970 from Two Rivers High School. On September 16, 1989, he married the former Ginny A. Muench at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Kellnersville. Paul was a masonry laborer for Laborer's Union Local #330, retiring in 2010 due to illness. He was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church of Kellnersville and Laborer's Union Local #330. Paul enjoyed cutting wood, working on John Deere Tractors, fabricating and fixing anything he could. He also enjoyed any type of aircraft.Paul is survived by his wife: Ginny A. Pieschel; his three sons: Jacob, Nicholas and Austin Pieschel, all of Kellnersville; three brothers: Jeff Pieschel, Mishicot; Myron Pieschel, Manitowoc; Tim Pieschel, Mishicot; two sisters and brothers-in-law: Mary (Steve) Whalen, Maribel; Jenny (Kevin) Tlachac, Manitowoc; two brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law: Cindy (Wayne) Hatfield, Kellnersville; Dave (Betty) Muench, Lily, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends also survive. He was preceded in death by his parents: Donald and Beverly Pieschel; one infant son: Joshua Pieschel; one brother: Bruce Pieschel; his father-in-law and mother-in-law: George and Vivian Muench.Memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, May 9, 2017 at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Kellnersville. The Rev. Richard Klingeisen will celebrate the Mass of Christian Burial with burial at a later date in the parish cemetery. Relatives and friends may call at the church on Tuesday from 9:00 a.m. until the time of services at 11:00 a.m. The Reinbold & Pfeffer Family Funeral Home of Kellnersville is assisting the family with arrangements.
