Robert "Bob" Mrozinski

Robert "Bob" Mrozinski, age 82, of Manitowoc, passed away Friday, September 1, 2017 at Holy Family Memorial Medical Center surrounded by his loving family.Bob was born on June 29, 1935, in Manitowoc, son of the late Alois and Teresa (Daron) Mrozinski. He graduated with the class of 1952 from Lincoln High School. Bob proudly served in the U. S. Marine Corps, surviving the Korean War. On July 22, 1960, he married the former Donna Klumb in Manitowoc. He held several jobs over the years and retired from Eck Foundry as a supervisor.Bob is survived by his loving wife of 57 years: Donna (Klumb) Mrozinski; four children: Cheryl Brazil, Merry "Jo" May and her husband Phil; Tom Salzbrun and his wife Ann; and Crystal (Mrozinski) Hammon and Randy; six grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; five sisters; two brothers; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends also survive. He was preceded in death by his parents; one special grandson: Adam Schoenke; one son-in-law: Jerry Brazil; one brother: Jack Mrozinski.Bob had a great faith in God and was very involved in his church Wesley Methodist and First Reformed United Church of Christ. Bob lived all aspects of his life by the principles of a proud Marine.Memorial services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, September 6, 2017 at First Reformed United Church of Christ, 3613 Waldo Boulevard, Manitowoc. The Rev. Dr. Matthew L. Sauer will officiate. Relatives and friends may call at the church on Wednesday from 12:00 noon until the time of service at 2:00 p.m. with military honors accorded by VFW Otto-Oas Post #659 of Manitowoc and refreshments. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established in Bob's name. The Jens Family Funeral Home & Crematory of Manitowoc is assisting the family with arrangements.
