Ruth Ann Gnadt, 68, of Cleveland, died Tuesday, May 8, 2018 in Cleveland.Ruth Ann was born on November 21, 1949 in Milwaukee to Raymond and Lillian (Stasiak) Kulas. One of six siblings, she graduated from South Division High School in Milwaukee in 1967. Ruth Ann met Russ Gnadt in 1971 on a blind date, set up by her brother-in-law, Dan. They were wed a year and a half later in an intimate ceremony at St. Matthew's in Milwaukee. They eventually settled in Cleveland in 1978 and raised their two sons, Eric and Tim. She retired from Lakeshore Technical College after 30+ years of service. Ruth Ann loved sewing, walking her two dogs, drinks with her "drink ladies," shopping QVC, lunches with her friend Marilyn, and traveling to New York to "pup-sit" her grand-puppy Burton Guster.Ruth is survived by her loving family Russ Gnadt of Cleveland, Eric Gnadt and his fiancée, Laura Cox and her son, Aaron Walker of Wauwatosa, Tim (Lindsay Higgins) Gnadt of Cortlandt Manor, NY, Eileen (Dan) Gonzalez of Menomonee Falls, Jerry (Sue) Kulas of St. Francis, Ken (Betty) Kulas of Racine, Mike (Arlene) Kulas of West Milwaukee, Carol (Erv) Drewek of Waseca, MN, Richard (Barbara) Gnadt of Bailey's Harbor, James Gnadt of Fairport, NY, Michael (Renee) Gnadt of Kiel, Fred (Kate) Gnadt of Schaumburg, IL, Susan (Dennis) Wisniewski of Manitowoc, Barbara (Greg Ross) Gnadt of Two Rivers; numerous nieces and nephews; her dogs Flash and Capone; and her many friends and neighbors. She is preceded in death by her parents Raymond and Lillian Kulas, and sister-in-law Jan Gnadt.A celebration of Ruth's life will take place on Saturday, May 12, 2018 at the Jens Family Funeral Home & Crematory, 1122 South 8th Street, Manitowoc. Relatives and friends may call on Saturday at the funeral home from 2:00 p.m. until the time of service at 4:00 p.m. A short non-denominational service led by Pastor Greg Howard will start at 4:00 p.m. Online condolences may be left for the family at www.jensreinboldandpfeffer.com
