Funeral Services

A funeral service is a special time for family and friends to comfort one another, begin to find healing and celebrate a life well lived. Whether you choose burial or cremation, you can hold a funeral service to honor your loved one. We are happy to provide a traditional funeral or something completely unique. Many cultures and religions have special funeral traditions and we will do our best to accommodate your requests. This is a moment for you and your family and we are honored to help serve and guide you in any way we can.

Burial

A casket burial is a traditional service and there are many options you can choose from. We can provide a traditional service including a visitation with a closed or open casket; followed by a funeral service at our funeral home, church,  or cemetery chapel; and concluding with a graveside service. Families can also choose an immediate burial, which may or may not include a graveside service.   Any type of service that a  family chooses can be either public, private or a combination of the two, depending on your personal preference.

Funeral Services

Two Day Traditional Funeral

A visitation is held the day or evening prior, with the funeral service being held the following day. The visitation typically takes place in one of our funeral homes, while the service may be held on or off-site at a church or other location. This may also include a procession to the final resting place following the funeral service. All services may be public or private.

Same Day Traditional Funeral Service

A visitation is held the same day as the funeral service and typically takes place at the same location as the funeral service.  This may also include a procession to the final resting place following the funeral service. All services may be public or private.

Graveside Services-Including Entombment

A service is held prior to the casket being placed into the ground or crypt. The service generally includes committal prayers by a clergy member or speeches and shared memories by those present. This may be formal or informal and either public or private.

Direct Burial-Including Entombment

A traditional burial with a casket going into the ground or a crypt without any formal services being held. Family members may attend to witness the burial or entombment.  A funeral director is present during the process ensuring a dignified burial.
